The Headquaters in Merdeka Garden

This shot was taken in front of 14, Jalan Rakyat, Merdeka Garden, Ipoh.

This was the headquaters of the Pink Panthers. I really mean it, because it was the meeting place of many of the college mates. It was very safe and open to everyone. Anyone could enter and vsist or just relax there. There was music, newspapers, and the great company of the panthers. In the evening, we would gather in front of the house and wait for girls who would pass by on their way home. We would tease and advertise ourselves. Initially, there were many girls who used the road but due to our presence, they used other routes. That was our own fault. Anyway, life has to go on. We turned to other sources of entertainment.
